Reread NVMY68SS's post. It's wait a bit for an RPO Hurst shifter or order one over-the-count, when you can, and as with the LPO shifter, the dealer will install it.

For the guys who are at 3300, did you see proof of that or just the dealer e-mailing/calling you?

Did you actually see an order status print off or just "hearsay"?

Email from the dealer. I have no reason to doubt them.

Thats the dealer show room cars, every dealer is supposed to get one. it seems like they are going to make all of them before even starting on any sold V6 cars.. So if they could make 100 V6 cars a day that is probably going to take at least 1 1/2 months to build those before any of our cars will be built. Assuming they could make 100 a day from the start of production.

I'm not suggesting that you should. It's just that it is general knowledge throughout dealers in the NE area that NEXT week is the first order cycle for Camaro. How could some be at 3300 when next week is the earliest the these orders can be put into system?

Just wondering.

I can't say whether you're right or wrong but we all know for a fact that a couple of orders including ScottBjorn3D's have passed the 3000 level. What that means in the greater picture I don't know...

+1 and I received a new Order Workbench today for mine............

In short guys and gals, my salesman told me Sunday that when their regional manager contacted them last Monday, he told them they were going to pull (5) cars for the first build. When he told me that I was ecstatic.

They are going through. That's all I can say.

You'll still be able to get the shifter, just not right now. It's going to be a factory install later with a new RPO. You can still order it when available and install yourself. The big thing is it's just not gonna be on the window sticker. I had it on my order and when they sent me my new Order Workbench today it was already removed.

ONLY THE SHIFTER IS REMOVED, NOT THE WHOLE ORDER.
Thank you for that - now I can relax. Does this mean I shouldn't go cancel the hurst? That GM will do it for me and produce the car with a stock shifter? The report read ambiguously and I interpreted it as though GM was removing the entire order. I hope you are right
