To run 17 in the front which will clear the brembo brakes and 15 in the back I need v6 brakes Ok now is this meaning all I need is the v6 rotors and pads? |

You would also need the calipers, and I'm not sure what else. Might have more luck with this question in the Wheels and Tires sub-forum.

Why not just run 18s?

When you say "need V6 brakes" ... Are V6 brakes a type of aftermarket brand or does V6 mean the brakes from an actual V6 Camaro?

I read in a mag that you would need rotors, calipers, & I think the lines also ( but maybe not ). You might find them cheap at a junkyard since it's the brembos that everyone wants.
I take it you want this setup for drag racing. |

You need much more than just brakes to run a 15" wheel in the rear.

Not sure why you want to run 15's and degrade your brakes. It takes a lot of work to remove all the Brembo options and add the other setup for the rear. If its for drag racing they make decent tires in an 18" with no mods needed.

Yeah it's for drag racing I was planning on running 15x10 in the back and 17s n the front so would only the back would need a swap
By v6 brakes I Mean Actual 6 cylinder Camaro brakes the ss have the brembo package and they are too big Also mainly doing the 15 for Price of tires u start getting up there to 18" for set of slicks it gets pretty pricey |

I believe BMR and ADM sell a 15" rear conversion kit. It will cost a few dollar to get everything setup right.
http://www.bmrsuspension.com/?page=p...=102&catid=319 You only need to go with 15" rear wheels if your pushing really high HP numbers and looking to run really low times. I know guys running 10s with 1.5x sec 60' times with 18" wheels/tires. |
