2LT Electronic cutout installation price

i have one shop saying it will cost me $400 here on long island. is that excessive. what is reasonable

What exactly are you having installed, raising the electronic limiter from 118 to 155 like on the RS ?

I think he is talking about exhaust electric cutouts to make it louder with the push of a button.

The shop I go to would probably only charge me around $150-$200. Ive know the guy for 10 years and bring him tons of business tho.

Have you heard what that sounds like on a V6? I'm not trying to start anything but it sounds terrible. I just hate to see someone waste money.

Sounds good at idle and during startup. Under throttle it all depends on what you think sounds decent.

Is that $400 total with the E-cutout?? To cut the exhaust and weld in the exhaust cutout should be no more than $80 MAX. Now to run the wiring into the car I would do it yourself and still no way to install a cutout with wiring should cost that much.
