Order NOW - $500 over INVOICE or GMS/GSU
Did that get your attention? This is my way of giving back to the forum members here. Props to Mac1 for directing me to them. Funny part is my "winter ride" Impala was initially bought from them...
I am fully serious. As many of you know, I was the first to order at the 2nd largest dealer in the country. At MSRP. I have found a local dealer with plenty of allocation left who I placed a new order with since he was accepting GMS/GSU where my original dealer was not. I got the new order pricing in writing and so did a friend I brought along who also placed a GMS deal this morning. There's a total of only four Camaros sold at this dealership so far including ours. The fifth spot is reserved for Mac1 here. His original allocation was 31. That leaves 26 in my book. So here it is: Joe Basil Chevrolet Transit Road Depew (Buffalo), NY (716) 684-6800 You need to speak directly to Steve Dietzen, new car manager. Steve's Direct Number-> (716) 206-1796 his email is the easiest way to get a hold of him and is as follows: steved@joebasilchevrolet.com FYI- Steve is usually off on Fridays . ___________________________________ Camaro5 buyers in order of OVERALL spot in line (#___of 31): #1 me (Trent) Red Jewel 2SS/RS (was #3 but got moved up due to constraints above me). Damn. #4 Gary (my buddy who went with me) 2SS/RS #6 MAXDMAX Black 2SS/RS #7 Ctrain24 (Chris) Cyber Gray Metallic 2SS/RS with black interior.(Most likely will switch to IOM interior) #9 Bri9 #12 c0rsa180 (Steve) IOM 2ss/rs M6 #14 Tantalizer43 (Justin) CGM 2SS/RS 6spd Black interior #17 authenticnikes #18 cyberbro # ?? who else # ?? who else . Current stats as of 3/13/09 18 of 31 are now sold Feb consensus-> 3 March consensus-> 7 . ___________________________________ Last edited by trm0002; 03-18-2009 at 10:01 PM. Good news for you - saving money is a plus.
I already have that deal as my dealer was always willing to honor GM discounts and incentives if available. I would jump on board if i didn't though as it will save around $2500 or so. |

You got the idea...
$90 one way flight from Miami to Buffalo. Then you get to slum it driving back to Florida in your new Camaro. Hell, if the flight isn't while I'm at work I'll even be willing to pick up whoever comes in and drive them to the dealership. It's about 15 minutes from the Buffalo-Niagara International Airport (BUF). I would be more than happy to do that for members here if it fits into my schedule. |

If the flight comes in while trm0002 is at work or otherwise tied up - I'll pick you up and take you there. It is a fantastic deal and a great dealership. If you call Steve he WILL sell for invoice!

That is GREAT news!
I just emailed him. Hopefully I can make a clean switch (or get my existing order at a lower price) I was driving to the midwest from MD so North instead of West is fine with me. lol Thank you! |

No, not which is higher. If you qualify for GMS, that's obviously the lowest. Those that qualify for supplier he's guessing at this point will be equivalent to $500 over invoice; so for those that don't qualify for either discount, that's where the $500 over invoice comes into play. If it turns out supplier is lower than that, Steve will give you that price; otherwise you get the $500 over invoice.

I'd love to see this thread turn into a bidding war.

wow, $500 per car and 31 allotment - they still make an easy $15k this quarter on camaros alone. sell cheap and sell many - we all win!
