Most expensive alternator ever

Dropped the car off at APF for "alternator" work today What can I say, it is hard explaining to the wife that the car needs more invested, but seriously...John is going to forge and stroke the motor; replace the clutch; upgrade the fuel system; and, then let me blow up the axles to justify spending more on this wonderful moneypit of a hobby/habit. Ain't life grand?

I must be buying better stuff. I tell mine "that was about $40". She'd never believe the $20 line (like she really know her car parts).

John sent me a picture. Almost feels like the sinking feeling I get everytime one of the kids go zooming by the baby on their bikes Really, I am excited to see this thing coming along

My wife google's the parts. So there is no fooling her. But as long as its payed with cash, she doesn't care how much is spent. She is so amazing.

I am pretty sure that Mike just knows that it is better not to know...I keep a stash fund for car stuff. He knows I spend the money but as long as it doesnt affect him he is good... in turn, I never complain about the massive mounts of Apple hardware we own.
