Goodyear's cracking yet?

The Goodyear's are nice and snug in the basement at 68°F. Seeing as its -4°F outside with a real feel wind chill of -30°F. Wanted to see if any of those that stated tire cracking was BS, if they're out driving right now!? Lol

Mine is parked while we touch 17* tonight. Wednesday evening the lows will be back about 30* again and she'll be back on the road.

That's probably warm to you guys but they seriously closed some schools because it was gonna be 17* with no chance of rain...

I tore some 2" x 1" chunks out of my brand new rear tires with a "mild" burn out. Oh well, they said don't do that when it's cold out but I've never been good with rules.

ive driven in negatives without issues so i have a theory that if you continuously "flex" the tires by moving the car and dont let them harden over an extended period of time they are okay. I am not saying to drive on them though ive had no choice but to in the past.

Just as a heads up the performance Goodyears have always been bad in the past about stress cracks. Not taking into account our tires, just in general. I work for a large tire company that sells them and they really need to work on that but hey they are nice when it is warm out. This has been a known problem for a long time to anyone in the tire industry that knows anything and will tell you the truth about it. As far as the topic gos mine are doing ok here in the ATX. I do think the tires suck if it gets below 50 out.

Picked mine up today and THEY ARE CRACKED!!I will post pics tomorrow of my car and tires... Today high was -17 dealer moved it out in the am and said they couldn't fit it in inside until it was ready for PDI.... Unfortunately I was so excited to pick it up I drove it in the trailer without looking at the tires tomorrow I'm stoping by my dealer to discuss the issue

Just as a heads up if up can go to a Discount Tire they will warranty them there. Goodyear should replace them though DTC 100%. I bet you could get the dealer to cover the mount and bal for you also then get the warranty on them from DTC. Just saying it is a good fall back plan it dealer gives you a hard time about replacing them. I know goodyear tires and I put warranty on them as soon as i got the car to cover this kind of problem or even road hazard 100% though DTC. Also with the finish of the wheel make sure they have someone that knows what they are doing to not jack up the wheel.

Also if this might help I am putting a few links to what stress cracks look like. This might help everyone know what they are looking for. They are not all goodyear tires but you get the idea.
