I really want my note to be 450-475 for 60mos. Deal they were talking was 508. Just have to put down 3k instead of 1500. My girls loved the car but my 8yo said, 'Dad I really like the Camaro but I'll miss the room in your old car (4door 335). ^ those are the killers for me-my girls trump most everything nowadays even though we bought the wife a new SUV last Dec. |

i think there is a website.. car.com or something that compares a car you are looking at and shows the pricing in the area. more of what everyone else is paying. used it when i got mine about a year ago.
its only to much if you cant reasonably afford it. over a normal ss. paid? not sure. gl.

I would also highly suggest to negotiate based off total cost and not monthly payments. Find the best price then the best rate!

I would also highly advise against the sunroof option. It doesn't leave a lot of head room and depending on how tall you are can make wearing a helmet in the car a challenge or an impossibility.

Well, duh... The 'where do you want to be' discussion is silly. I own my car outright. Any monthly payment is too high. At some point you want buy the car or not.

Hey Wahoo,
I hope this helps answer your question: I ordered my 14 1LE 2SS RS NPP, no sunroof, last month. Based on your quote, I would say you're 'bout $4k too high. I was also able to include the $750 USAA discount mentioned earlier by Msmal, which helps. Good luck! |

Way too high of a price, I am paying just over $42k for a 2SS/RS 1LE with NPP and Recaros. Go to TrueCar and pull the pricing from there and have the dealer match that or find a dealer that will match that price.

If no recaros, then price is about 4k too high. Invoice price ad others have said is your target.

Invoice price isn't what dealers pay.
There's MSRP Then Invoice Then there's advertising, holdback and a few other miscellaneous charges below invoice that get you to dealer cost. And as far as dealer ads complete scam. Do not pay for nitrogen tires or any of that. I was a Chevy salesman I know all about that. |
