I tried using Eagle One Nano Spray on Wax for the first time. I have done it twice now. It has left a nice shine and I like that I do not have to worry about leaving a white residue on non-painted areas. In fact I use it on the black plastic areas of the front grill, side aero pieces and rear diffuser as well. It makes them more black and the water beads up on them as well as the paint. Absolutely no white residue or smearing. It takes me about 30 minutes to do the car after I dry it. It goes on and off as easy as a liquid detailer but is a wax with Carnuba and other things. So far so good. About $6.50 per bottle.

There's a paste wax called Classic Slipstream Carnuba that some guys use on their aircraft. It's a LOT of work if you're doing it by hand & it's messy with a LOT of powdery residue, but it gets the "job" done & lasts. I busted myself up pretty good on my bike, so anymore, I have my vehicles detailed by folks I can trust to do it right.

I haven't seen that in 20 years, last I heard they went out of business some time a go. But the wax was awesome ...

You bought a 56k car to use cheap $6.50 spray on wax..really...almost as bad as the ice turtle wax. Throw some armor all on the dash and your good to go. Whatever you like I guess.

I assume your lsp was the blackfire on the opti-coat?

I'm thinking the same lsp will be blackfire on Opti-coat 2.0 however, should I end up with a lighter colored Z it will be Collinite 825 on Opti-Coat 2.0.

I think the Collinite does great on the lighter colors as the Blackfire does on the darker ones.

Either way the Opti-coat is going to last you at least a couple of years before you need another application.
Don't forget to do your wheels as well!

I have been using Blackfire for 7 years. A number of people I know thought my 6 1/2 year old SRT8 Charger (daily driver) was only a year old. I would highly recommend it. Its ridiculously easy to use, looks fantastic, protects and last a long time.
