I didn’t complain about the 5th gen, the 5th gen resfresh, or the 6th gen. I like them all. But not this one. We don’t “love” to complain about it and I’m sure many of us wished we didn’t have to.
If this car had come out 15 years ago it might not have been so bad.

If you think the hate for the '19s is exclusive to this forum you must only check this forum! To call the redesign controversial would be an understatement... Also, the hardtop has been revealed for over a month, and the new car has been live on Chevy's site for awhile.

That said, I actually like the new RS, but wasn't in the market for an RS. Had a '16 Mustang, hated the redesign, saw the '19 SS, then ended up in a '18 SS a few weeks ago. It's not just internet talk, I spoke with my wallet, about both refreshes. IMO both are butt ugly. The new Mustang looks like a derpy catfish, the new SS looks like someone took the worst elements of a Charger and a new Lexus and made a unholy union. That's not from a fanboy or a bitter '16 or 5th gen owner, its just from someone with eyes and discerning tastes.

That's the angle on the front end that makes me think it looks like a whale. IMO it looks like a whale getting ready to feed on krill.

It just looks disproportionate or something to me.

I do need to see it in pictures, but that is my opinion so far from the pictures.

I think the RS model looks good if you blacked out the headlights with a black grill. Would look like a black smile. Kind of like the little kid from full metal alchemist (anime fans will understand)
But tbh I like the tail lights sort of, might do a full front swap on the SS if I decide to go for the 2019 later on in the year, or might just stick with the 2018 that are left over in the dealer lots.

There is a nice picture of a 18 convertible , silver with nice bright wheels, same angle but rolling and its a knockout. The 19 non SS cars look presentable but the 18 and earlier non SS cars are very good looking. The 2019 non SS does look good compared to the 2019 SS but still no where near the great looks of all the earlier 6th gen's.
