Got an 11 1LT back in 2010. Car was awesome but a yr later traded up for a 11 2SS. Reason i traded waa because didnt want to void warranty on the LT and spend more money to mod it so saw it was cheaper to go with an SS to get the gains i am seking

(2011) 2SS here.

I actually made an offer on a 2012 2LT/RS first. I wanted that one because it was over 300HP, it was pretty, and I giggled the entire test drive, but the dealership wouldn't budge more than $300 under MSRP.

So I went to the local Dodge dealership and bought the cheaper, pre-loved SS.

Until last Saturday I owned a 2010 2LT Silver Ice Auto. Last Saturday I bought a 2012 2SS/RS 6sp Hust shifter. I switched for the extra power, get a manual, and switched to the victory red. So far I love the change and extra power.

Here is my story.

My wife and myself were going in to trade my 07 mustang V6 for a 2010 camaro SS. Long story short, they wanted near 800 in monthly payments for the SS. No way. My wife wanted a Camaro badly andwanted it now (women) and like a good husband I told her we could try for the red LT which was 23,500 with 20k miles. The payments are still high for this car, but whatever. I'm upgrading soon.
