Slight vibration at idle

OK the last couple of days I ave noticed that I will have a slight vibration when I am at a stop. It will idle fine for a few seconds and then this vibration will start for about 10 seconds and then it will idle fine again for a little while. I have a 2011 2SS/RS LS3. If anyone knows what this may be please let me know. Oh and it only has 17,000 miles on it. I just don't want to take the time to bring it in if it is a simple fix. Thanks.

Should be normal, nothing to worry about

I wouldn't really worry about it. I know it has a slight lope but not a vibration like this. For the last 10 months I have not had this issue.

My 2012 2SS/RS does the same. When I had the 2010 2LT id did not do this. Its the power of the V8. I would not worry unless it stalls or you have any lights come on.

Great question. Just last night I sat in the car waiting to warm up. Felt the vibration and wondered what it could be. I have a 2012 SS so it must be V8 power revving to go. Cool!

It's definitely worse when the engine is cold.

I have the same problem. I notice that if I put the car in neutral, the vibration noise goes away. Put is back in gear, the vibration returns.

We apologize for the dissatisfaction that you are currently experiencing with your Camaro. The dealership would be in the best position to give technical assistance advice. If you are covered under warranty, it is even better!
