I thought this was a fake? Ford hasn't posted any Mustang times in a while.

No video or evidence of this actually being accurate.

Let me guess how the article will go.

GT350R wins the lap.
Chevy brings the car in and says the suspension was out of adjustment, and has fixed it now. (no telling what else was done)
Instead of getting both cars to do another comparison they just run the Z/28 and it betters the GT350's fast lap.

Sound familiar.

The GT350R should be faster being that the current Z/28 was one of the benchmarks that Ford was looking to exceed when developing it.

Specific output of more than 100 bhp per liter is very sexy

However, I have owned a GM vehicle that put out 145 bhp per liter, so...while that's wonderful for the GT350, specific outputs are just one benchmark for performance.

The Ford & Chevy battle always goes back and forth, sometimes Ford is faster and other times Chevy is faster. Just the way it goes.

What everyone forgets to mention is, the Z28 is STOCK, of the factory floor from GM. Shelby GT350 is a aftermarket modified Mustang. To me that's not apples for apples, so Z28 wins!

Nobody doubts there are faster cars out there. I doubt the Shelby is faster until I see proof. I'm not a Z/28 fanboy by the way.

There is so much fail in your post, I cannot even type a decent reply. Like the GT500's from 2007-2014, the GT350's will all be built by Ford. You must have been living under a rock since the '60's!
