Thanks man. Being the geek I am, had to do some calculations.
At the 1000' mark I'm travelling 167.2405 ft/s. It would take me 1.9134 more seconds to cover the remaining 320 ft of a 1/4 mile if I didn't accelerate any more. That would yeild a 11.4780.
Between the 1/8 and 1000' marks I was accelerating at 82.2629 ft/s^2. If I continue to accelerate at that rate then it should yeild right around an 11.3. It may be possible given I was shifting to 4th right at the 1000' mark and landing in a good part of the power band. Only way to know for sure is to run it at a 1/4 mile track.

Like i said, my previous setup went the same exact 1000 as you and I ran 11.39 @ 121 and you may be mid 30s cause you are trapping very good! Thing is my 9.56 1000 was on a 1.76, not a 1.87, so your car is back halfing!

Yeah, I looked at your slip it took you 2.185 sec to cover the distance between the 1/8th and 1000' mark when mine was 2.033. So I was travelling 12 ft/sec faster than you. Could just be gearing differences, but I'd say I'm moving pretty good on the big end of the track.

They were only giving out slips for my car so thats why its ripped in half. It was during a test and tune time. The track was well prepped but i could not get off the line traction with my tires. If i let it out at 3000 or 1500 rpms i would wheel hop. With out T/C it would hop through most of 1st with T/C it would hop just a bit and then power die, then full power back and i would go. The tires were full of air 35 PSI. They have nitrogen in them so i didn't want to let it out for a bit of traction that i may not get. But i had fun all the same and BTW it was my first time even on the strip.

Glad to hear you had a good time. You guessed it correctly , that 35 PSI was killing your launch and 60' time. Which in turns hurts the 1/8 mile times. Maybe next time out try dropping the PSI to 28 - 30 and heat them up a little.

ENJOY.

I'm getting closer! My new personal best time. This Saturday at Music City Raceway Goodlettsville, TN. Here is my best time:

Okay I found the stats on the track & weather. The elevation at the track is 895.7. The temp was 58, Barometric pressure was 30.0, dewpoint was 35. The humidity at that time for the day is was at about 35%. BTW that was with a full tank of gas!
