Exclamation Brembo Brake Shortage????????

Talked to my dealer today and found out I've moved to 3400 with a TPW next week (the good news). According to his rep there is a looming shortage of parts from Brembo and as a result V8 cars will be halted and only V6's produced until such time as Brembo can get caught up. From what he told me this should occur within the next couple weeks, which according to him shouldn't affect mine. Don't want to cause a sh*tstorm but has anybody else heard this or is it

your dealer is the only one in the world who seems to know about this,

Lesson number 1: Just because your dealer says something doesn't make it so. Stop torturing yourselves!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Rumours are called rumours because they're rumours.

Unless of course it's true.

I was told with 19k+ preorders, dealer cars etc that Brembo didn't have the production capacity to keep up. I asked if it had anything to do with the weights and he said no. His rep is based in Oshawa so maybe???????

My car sat in QC for a month, it better have 4 Brembos and a Bimbo thrown in.
