It's harder not to launch it now that I have some decent exhaust too...LOL. Sounds too good to not make her bark on take off.

Honestly I'm not bugged by the exhaust note. It's actually got more volume than the L99...

It didn't bug me at all, but it's a muscle car so I thought she should have a little more growl to her. My hubby has a G35 coupe and it ha a nice purr. Couldn't have it outdoing my new baby.

Really? I used to drive my friend's 2003 Mustang GT. I think the GT was a bit more fun to drive than our Camaro V6 (more torque). That being said, I don't think the past Mustang V6's could touch the current Camaro or Mustang V6's.

LMAO..It should be a stated warning. Has nothing to do with consumption due to the addition, but for some reason my foot is a little heavier. Diet?? LOL

never drove a 2003 Mustang, seems like the general consensus is there is not much of a comparison, Camaro easily tops it
I fixed that for you. Otherwise I'd agree. But to the OP go to another dealer and test the V6 before you take possession. You might want to test the SS too if it's in your price range. I tried both and stuck with the V6 for a lot of reasons.

The 5th gen Fbody V6 variant might be a good race for a New Edge 2v GT, however a 3v GT ('05-'10) will (when compartively equipped) destroy a V6 Camaro. Regardless that the hp numbers are similar. The V6 Camaro has too much weight and too little torque to take a 3v on.

I agree with what everyone has already stated. The car is absolutely amazing. The only thing i would say to changed is the exahust, but changing much more always makes the ride that much better, IMO.

For me its the passing power...even on the interstate going 75, when I punch it to pass there is a lot more power left and she really takes off. One thing you didn't mention and someone else here on C5 has...."who wants to go fast ugly"...our Camaro looks awesome and fast just standing still....

^ What he said.

I test drove both and could afford both but went for the V6 for numerous reasons too.
