I am just wondering when all the people that complain about "drone" in the various threads around here are going to realize you can't have a loud exhaust outside without hearing some extra noise in the cabin? Do you guys at Flowmaster have a cure for this?

Note: This is not solely aimed at the poster above, but everyone who complains about drone at 1800-2000 rpm. It's tiresome.

i could say i single handedly sold numerous AT kits just by the undeniable excellence of words i chose to use to comment on the system....the thread i started in this section has been on fire since day 1....really...the videos never sold me....but my prior knowledge of flowmaster did...i never heard it in person before purchase but...i did hear a competitors axle back system and was a little shaky on it....its sound and what the brand MEANS turned me away for good....plus who wants the exact setup as someone u batman and robin with to car shows?! not me....this has clearly been the best mod done to my car to date...

the system was packed well...however treatment by UPS was well...lets just be glad i wasnt having a 17th century china set delivered to me....thankfully my shop was able to fix the few little bends in the ends of the pipes (the ends where the tips go) and go from there...

great job on this system and the complaints of "out of stock" from numerous retailers definitely means its sellin like hot cakes

It was so bad at 2000 RPM that after one day I had to change it. It gave me a head ace. I have had a lot of different cars and trucks and never heard or felt the vibration I did with the Flowmaster muffler. I could not keep it. It just was not enjoy able. I have never wrote about anything like this before but it cost me an extra $100.00 to replace it. Good luck to you all.

Sorry I think you are going to get drone with any aftermarket exhaust that is intended to be louder (more muscle car like) than the stock on an L99 due to the AFM. Unfortunately you tune it out and it is not an issue. My MPG has not changed significantly...but mine was not that good to begin with

I cured the drone with Rattle Trap sound deadener, lined the entire trunk.

+1 drone on 08 silverado and 67 camaro. It hits the resonant frequency of the car/truck and gets insanely loud in the vehicle. I realize that Dynomax didnt do it and corsa didnt either.

Here is the V6 video, with my apologies

Those of you with drone questions might want to have a look at the Hushpower systems. They are popular with racers who have dB restrictions, yet they still make good power.
