I always thought the name of the workout was a pretty dumb idea.

What did you think of the Chavez Jr vs Martinez fight?

Personally I hated Chavez Jr simply because he was fighting nobodies and I was happy to see Martinez working him all fight. But the 12th...damnit now I have to give the boy at least some credit.

Hey man, good for you. MUCH respect for that!

Amen on the boxing scene. I've actually become more interested in MMA recently from the matchups I've seen, and want to transition and expand my striking a bit.

That fight was crazy! Chavez Jr certainly wasn't taking to fight seriously, but I was stunned in the 12th when he rocked him, but Martinez kept swinging!

Yea, sorry for going off-topic. I'm gonna have to make a combat sports / lifters /trainers thread!

The fist 30 days of Insanity are a little deceiving, the next 30 days KICKED my butt!

Thanks bro!

MMAs not bad but boxing I feel is much more of a sport. Its gaining steam but I dont think it will overtake boxing. Boxing will eventually rebound. MMA is just too brutal and the fights are too short for it to overtake the popularity of boxing.

I'm definitely wanting to see a rematch with Chavez. I think he will lose but that 12th round flurry earned him a second look. I mainly want to see Bradley vs Mayweather though. He definitely could beat Floyd...

And yesss we need that thread!

Allright then. You're not too far off from some of my dimensions. I'm just under 6 ft and I walk around at about 215. I cut to 190-ish. That seems like a pretty good water level then if you're going to be consistently exercising.

I can't say I'm sold on the Visalus stuff. They are kind of a pyramid-scheme type organization, so people selling the stuff are usually the overly-salesman type and overly preachy about their products.

Personally, I drink the following after every workout, and it has worked for me far better than any shake. It has more nutrients, minerals and antioxidants, and won't give you that bloated feel:

Handful of spinach
Handful of strawberries
Handful of blueberries
1 or 2 bannanas
2 cups of nonfat, unflavored greek yogurt
1 cup of almond or coconut milk

Blend it all up, chill. enjoy.

I disagree! There are many ill conceived routines out there and also improperly used routines. I blame a lot of it on Bodybuildingforum.com. Most of that site is garbage for most people's purposes.
