We're going to be leaving Red Deer and going onto 11a then north on 20 then west on 12 to Rocky. Lotsafn doesn't like construction or the oil/tar they put down when paving.

This looks like a fairly long stretch of overlay paving. If they just started recently they will be there for at least a month. I kind of like the alternate route idea to stay away from the oil too.

I agree, it is unlikely they will be done before the cruise. I would suggest going 11A to 20 to 12 to rocky.

This route will ADD 20 minutes to the trip according to google maps.

I think we will take 11(gives us some 4 lane space) to 20 to 12 to 22, we will also leave Red Deer at 10:30 sharp to make up some time. I will post the changes.

We will be leaving Red Deer at 10:30 sharp, due to highway construction and route change, and driving to Rocky Mountain House, which is about an hour and 20 minutes away. Red Deer to Highway 11, North on Highway 20, West on Highway 12 and South on Highway 22 into Rocky Mountain House.
