I dont do it right now but i have completed the program 2 times already. you need to be dedicated to it just like any workout program you do. Month 1 isn't bad but is still hard at first. Month 2 is when it kicks into gear and you really start to feel it (atleast for me it did). I was heavy all through high school and little of college and never thought these type or workout programs worked but they do. I went from 210lbs down to 150lbs at age 20 and have kept the weight off ever since. im 25 now and can honestly say im in the best shape of my life thanks to p90x and insanity. i give the workout 2 thumbs up

You can build a much better workout routine when targeting specific goals, but for people that don't know what they are doing, it's a decent way to shed a few pounds.

The workouts really just target the legs and cardio. Much better to do circuit training at the gym every other day.

Well, it's kind of the same thing.

Body-weight exerices for high-rep and constant movement are terrific ways to shed lbs and get a tone look, but what they do for "cardio" can be a bit over-rated. I have seen some people who think they are all big and bad after they get done with the program and they can't run under a 10 minute mile or swim the length of a pool. Some of my fellow lifters and fighters tried P90x and insanity to shed some weight, and they had great success. However, they also lost 10%-15% of their max lifting strength during the process, and did not gain any explosive power.

A balanced workout will encompass a little bit of everything. Run/bike/swim 2-3 days a week, weights 1-2 days a week, interval circuit train 1-2 days a week. This kind of program will not only help you look and feel great, but you will have far greater performance ability.

I have done insanity twice. And P90x and a hybrid. LOVE THEM. Insanity are shorter high intensity workouts. P90X have longer workouts with more weights. Both yeild amazing results.

how much do you weigh?

While I'm never one to knock maintaining hydration, that may be a little high. There is a point you can hit where you're drinking too much water that it will not produce any benefit.

Also, what protein drinks are you consuming? A lot of them are highly overrated. I have scaled back on those significantly over the last few years. I prefer to make my own blends which are much more nutritious and beneficial to my health and recovery.

My results:

It helped me get cut in the last month of my cutting process. Prior to insanity I was doing weight training and boxing to get my cardio in. Insanity is great for conditioning and fat loss. It will help you gain muscle if you have very little muscle but I HIGHLY recommend incorporating weight training into your routine.

All you really need is some good dumb bell routines, bench press, military press, and some sort of leg workout.

I got my own insanity workout and it works great for me. One 40 minute walk in my neighborhood with hills and wearing 25 pounds of cloths to add weight and sweat like a waterfall. This makes me toned, and allows me to eat whatever I want even late at night and I can maintain my same weight of 155 lbs after I lost 83 pounds in 8 months. I was 238 lbs in January this year.

Yes sir! Obviously I'm a nut fighting with one hand but for amateur boxing its doable. I've surprised a lot of people to say the least.

Now is a great time to get into boxing as its in shambles.

What did you think of the Chavez Jr vs Martinez fight?

Personally I hated Chavez Jr simply because he was fighting nobodies and I was happy to see Martinez working him all fight. But the 12th...damnit now I have to give the boy at least some credit.
