Pedders Spring Install Help - Issue???

I'm wanting to install my Pedders drop springs on my V6 today. I've been trying to find some installation instructions as I have never done suspension work before. I've looked on Pedders site and on here but can't seem to find any. I was given instructions for Pfadt springs, but I want to make sure there aren't any differences for the Pedders. Such as do I need to trim the bumper or not?

It's entirely possible I just missed them, but any help would be great!

Install would be the same but don't trim the bump stop. The isolators on the rear springs go on the second coil from what I remember

On the fronts a marker or touch of spray paint to mark where the strut is located on the hub before you remove them will help you get the alignment pretty close when you put it back together.

On the rears I undid the outer lower control arm bolt to help get the strut out of the control arm. There's a stiffening plate on it that can get in the way, undoing the bolt lets you use something to pry the arm an inch lower and it pops right out.

Beyond that its pretty simple. I didn't even use a spring compressor, just kept a hand on the nut to make sure it didn't shoot away. Hardly any pressure on it. Drive it for 100-200 miles to let the springs settle and then get an alignment.

Thanks for the tips guys. Anyone else feel free to chime in. Didn't have time to do it this weekend. What's the time frame on this? About 3 hours if I'm just using stands?

My shop did mine is a hour but they had the nice spring compressor. Depends what kind of compressor you have and how mechanically inclined you are I guess

So I installed my springs this weekend and am a little concerned. After finishing the install I looked at the car and it seemed like the front and rear of the car were almost even height. I installed the 220032 and 220035 springs so my impression is the car should have a slightly raked look. The car has not been aligned yet as the shops were all closed, but I did time the bushings. Not sure if the alignment will make much of a difference. Here are the numbers I came up with:

Front
Driver side - 29 3/8 inches
Passenger - 29 7/16

Rear
Driver - 29 7/8
Passenger -29 13/16

These measurements were taken from the ground to the top of the fender. According to the product info, the difference in height should be around .71 inches from rear to front. At most mine are only about .5 inches. While this isn't a huge difference, it does make me concerned. Plus, I was wanting a more raked look than even.

If someone can shed some light I would be much appreciated. Thanks!
