Heck...maybe we can do another get together soon anyway?

...and yeah....the SS was FILTHY. Ugh....I hate it..... freakin dust gets in the air and the car is dirty. But dude....you GOT TO see it when it's clean.
you better believe when your car gets in we will be meeting up.... as for beforehand.... I plan on meeting Turtle and Raven soon for one of their Saturday Cabela cruise ins. Let me know if any are in your schedule.

If you and your better half ever want to crash in Austin again, let me know, we'll plan a night on the town.

Good for you!

Sounds like a great time.

Heck I haven't even met Tag in person yet. Hoping to fix that next week.

Thanks a ton for the write up Kyle.

Thanks for the write up Kyle! It was an awesome weekend....and would have been even more so had the weather cooperated. It was awesome to finally put some more faces to names, but there were just so many. Turtle and I really felt like we were the hosts of the gathering Saturday morning and thank God we had already seen the cars because we were so busy talking with everyone that we barely even go to look at them!! It was also somewhat of a reunion for all of the local folks because we all haven't been in the same place at the same time in probably years!

I most of all want to thank Scott for bringing us all together and actually getting the cars to Austin!!! Most of our locals had never seen one in person until then. We have much chatter over on Austin F-Body about initial reactions of the car....kind of a flash back for us that have been on C5 all this time.

We'll have to keep an ongoing Central Texas C5 gathering, but it's hard to get Tag involved because of his work schedule...unless we do something during the week...but that is when Kyle is in DC I think I'm the only one with a "normal" 8-5 M-F schedule anymore!

Great show guys. Thanks for putting this together. I didn't really get around to meeting any of you all since I was with my wife and brother. We had a great time though. It was nice to see so many people come out for this event so early in the morning. We drove up from Edinburg (about 4 hours away) and got in at 1:00 in the morning and we were up by six on Saturday. The trip and lack of sleep were well worth it though. Thanks to all who took part in organizing this event.

If an event comes up that is going to be on a Sat night or something, I can take off work, but need to know well ahead of time. If it's a weekly or monthly thing, that is going to be tough to do taking off a lot of time. But, if everyone else can do weekends, I'll find a way. I'm in for sure.

....it is tough with this schedule and I've contemplated changing it....but I'd lose a lot in my work aspect if I did.
