Coil springs are the cheapest way to lower the car. Coilovers are another option, they cost more but give you the ability to set the ride height where ever you want and have a better ride. Wheels, they make or break a cars whole look. Tons of options. Good luck!!! |

The panels came out great looking but having some issues getting the abl to shine thru. So I'm still working on it.

Well I finally got the door panels done. I bought the Krud Kutter graffiti remover and some 0000 steel wool. Striped them down and buffed them up to clear. When I painted them I taped off where the light tube goes, came out great except when I put them back together the light didn't shine thru.
So I take tem back apart and decide it needs to be sanded down to the other edge, I tried sanded them down with a tape line but it wasn't going right so striped them all the way down to clear again and start over. When I got done painting the 2nd time it left a clear line along the top edge. I didn't really want to see that edge so I tried airbrushing a light coat of paint over the clear part. That made the light to dim so I sanded that back down. What a PITA but it's done out and came out real nice. Last edited by Chris-10; 09-23-2013 at 08:42 PM. |
