back up light location

The location of the back up lights on the new Camaro kind of reflect the first GEN RS Camaro location. also on the 67 and 68 the gas cap was between the taillights and the 69 had the gas cap behind the license tag. the first pic is of a non RS 67 the second pic is of a RS/SS 68 and the 3rd is of a RS 69

Yeah, I think that the filler lid is now a flush black panel covering the opening on the driver's R/Q/P. But the car still looks fantastic even with all that snow & salt on it. Be great if it were video.

Those 2 pics that Jay just put up show that the gas cap is where it is on the concept imo. It might even be some kind of combination guys (ie. GM put the nice lookin fuel cap on top of the rear fender but the real place to fill your gas is behind the license plate) so then no one has to worry about spilling gas on their paint BUT retains that look of the concept at the same time.

actually, it was going to, but they did produce one 1983 Corvette... there were others that were made, but only one survived and it is in the National Corvette Museum... it is a white car with the C4 body but with wheels and engine that are, basically, a 1982 model.

but you are correct in that the C4 was not ready for the 1983 model year, so there were no commercially available Corvettes for that year model.

are you talking about the fox body Mustang generation? because if you are, I believe that most people remember those as the longest running generation of Mustang... and some would argue that they were the best generation of Mustang for modification purposes... I know alot of folks that have actually made LS1/T56 conversions out of old fox bodies... and those cars are usually crazy fast.

and back on the topic of the filler door, I hate to burst anyone's bubble, but there are really only two options here:
1) the filler door is missing from this car, giving just cause for the car to have the "this vehicle contains less than 10litres of fuel".. or
2) the filler door is there and the black body, combined with the snow and reflections, is hiding it from plain sight.

I know alot of people are holding out for some kind of sign from God that they will be able to get the fuel filler door just like the Concept's, but it really is time to just accept that you will probably have to go aftermarket to get this kind of filler cap and location.

As much as I can't see the filler door on the passenger side in the pics, it isn't on the driver's side either. In the 2nd pic, you can see that it isn't on the driver's side, but it kind of looks like it's on the top of the driver's rear quarter.

I can't tell for sure in any of these pics. I'm still hoping, but as I've said before, it isn't a deal breaker.
It's a sign from GOD!!! I saw that too, but I don't know...it looks like there is something there....but I'm holding out for some better shots.

I know this has been said time and time again, but man she looks mean. I can definintely see the CTS when I see the grille on these new pics. Now all we need is a pre-prod interior minus loose wires and dashboard fixtures and we can expect Santa to be real nice to us.

A CHALLENGE ON THE SPOT OF THE GAS CAP.

Especially TAG, lol, you seemed really down about this one!!

UPON FURTHER REVIEW, THERE IS A REFELCTIVE IMAGE ON THIS PICTURE THAT SHOWS THAT A GAS CAP IS INDEED PRESENT ON THE DRIVER'S QUARTER PANEL OF THE CAMARO, SO THE RULING ON THIS CAR STANDS, "ITS A BEAUTIFUL CAR", GM WILL NOT BE CHARGED WITH A TIMEOUT(TONGUELASHING),REPEAT THE DOWN, 2ND DOWN AND 8 MONTHS TO GO.

Sadly...I agree. I hope I'm wrong, because I'd absolutely LOVE to have a filler door like the concept, like everybody here. Just - don't delude yourselves (keep an open mind about where it's going to be) - it's not healthy.

I don't think anyone is putting gas caps in the back any more. You guys spend way to much time trying to justify the reality that the cap will be on the side. Start saving your pennies to have it modified!

I feel like I'm seeing photos and a scientist is pointing out the possible UFO in the sky. Where is Mulder and Scully to help us figure out if that is a gas filler on the top! :party0048:

Is anyone else disturbed with the four headlights instead of two large ones in the early concept? Why the small one next to the large?
