Researching on this site I found a very old post by scrming where he datalogged with his dash hawk and got 23-25 total timing advance stock. Also, looking at jannety intake testing graph, it show timing for each intake and I think the highest was 25* with injen, and I think stock was like 19*. So I think its safe to say timing can go anywhere from 19-25 depending on the temp and gas?? If that is the case than ultragauge is right on the money. I think the timing usually peak at 4k rpm too and start dropping off.

Im calling on monday to make an appointment, but these folks got me pretty angry. I called and emailed them for the last 3 weeks for my dyno printout and I still dont have it. I am so close to going somewhere else but they are the only one who has my base dyno. When I go in this time I will be sure to take close up pictures of the screen just incase this happen again.

Yeah I would go somewhere else, but you are right the base dyno is worthless if you go to another place as all dyno seem to be different.

Well I think. Bigger the engine, better it accepts ethanol.

But also think that more we use ethanol fuels, more we have to change filters (specially fuel) and treat fuel system with cleaners.
Also more often keep our fuel tank full all the time, due higher condensation.

If car sits over winter. Drive or pump all ethanol fuel out to minimize corrosive effects.

If I remember right it was a dynojet. If so, just take a usb drive with you when you go next time and have them save all your run files to that drive. Then you can get the WinPep software and print you sheets whenever you want. It's a free download, just search for WinPep.

Bigger the static cr the more efficiently e85 can burn creating more power. It does not matter if the engine is bigger or smaller. Its all about compression.

Ethanol also act as a cleaning agent so more frequent oil change is recommended and sometimes fuel filters can get clogged more easily. I dont know anyone who had a problem tho.. I will also go back to gas in winter anyway.

Gretchen, I didnt know I could DL the run file. Hopefully I wont have to worry about my dyno sheet especially this time. I will be taking my camera with me anyway just incase.

Trust me, I actually want to. I want to let them know about there bs service and move on but they have my base dyno in their system. I actually have a place right across from them that use dynojet 424 and mainly deal with evo's that are basically begging for my business. I would be there in a heartbeat if the first place didnt have my baseline. I didnt think it was going to be this hard to get my dyno printout from these folks. Whats wrong with these peoples

Cool! I can't wait to see this. If it works out, then we've got to get you to test a couple of things that Tracy is going to work on with Gretchen. They may get you a few more ponies. Not to count chickens before they hatch, but it would be nice to see a LLT put down 320+ RWHP with boltons, tune and E85.

You guys are going to get me kicked out going broke with all these dyno times lol

but anything for more power so for you and tracy I will be more than happy to be your guiney pig but in anyway you can share what this new thing might be for the extra ponies gretchen?

I can def tell you guys that 300rwhp is no more a "maybe"... even if I dont get to full 300rwhp with just e85, I can guarantee you those numbers will be a reality once I ditch this factory intake I am still running.
