I would recommend getting a separate clutch reservoir to separate your clutch fluid from your brake fluid. JDP Motorsports sells a nice kit with everything needed. If you do a search here in the 1LE section I posted some pics of mine that I did. And as others have said going with higher temp fluid is a good mod while you are at it. Unless you don't intend on tracking the car the the dot 3 should work fine for you.
Congrats on the car too BTW. Looks great!!

Cam. Just one. lol
I know its a Mustang habit to say camS but the LS only needs one to make the power. Good looking 1LE. Love the color. |

Welcome to the fourm!
I say, enjoy the car for a bit the way it is, then decide from there. Octane fuse pull- NPP fuse pull right out the gates tho. A must imo! |

Great Car!!! Nice color too!
5 and 20 fuse pull - Under the hood. NPP fuse pull - In the trunk 1LE really does handle, definitely makes up for the "sluggishness" once you put her in the twisties! CAI, LT Headers/HF Cats, and Tune make the LS very happy. Here's mine.... |

OP, the sluggishness is due to the fact that the 1LE is slower than a 5.0 Mustang. It has about the same power, but more torque. However it weighs 200 pounds more.
At the drags the Mustang is all over the 1LE, but on a road track it's 1LE FTW. Still as you may have already already discovered the 1LE is more fun to drive and looks more aggressive. Lots of vendors here and great tech and DIY forums. Look around.

Get your self a cai on that beast. Great ride and nice color.
There is tons to read about with this car. I've had no problums with my car at all and it's plenty snappy. The car seams to get a little better as the miles add up. Also the sweet spot in the throttle may be alittle differant than 5.0 . |
