Just 1500 more RPM to go... and five more gears There's a reason why our speedometers go to 150

Tried it again a bit ago from work, 1st-4th rolling start. Shifts at 4800ish because I realized once it spun up that high I was gonna run out of room to brake..
Think it was close to 1/4 mile I'll have to google map the stretch but she was at 103 by the end. Took a bit long to wind to that 4800 though.. Car quite literally had a feedback feel of: 1st: "Dafuq!?" 2nd: "Woa-" 3rd: "AWW YEAH-" 4th: "LEEERROOOOOYY JEEEEEEENNNNKIIINNNSSS!!!!" |

Ok Zabo, I was thinking about you. Yes, during my normal life, I thought about you. My wife and I went for a drive, and on the way home I said "hey, record me shifting!" so that I could share with you how to beat on your car.
This is just a quick roll out of a parking lot (5mph?), side-step the clutch (1500rpm?), and run to 110. You'll notice I paddled the gas a little at the top of first due to spinning. Watch and learn young Szechuan: http://youtu.be/C11-fkRd3t4

TC on, off, or "what's TC?"? TC off because it was dry/warm enough to get the stoplight rubber build up tacky. Wound her to 5400 then 4900 the other three gears before I had to dump it in neutral to yay school bus dodge. Note to others, do not try with a 24oz cup o joe in the cup holder: No spills obviously but damn was it hard.. Also mounts: |

I'm lucky enough not to even have TC. My others had it, but habit was to turn it off after starting the car
And in the way when driving hard.

And it is really shitty on the 4th gens. I don't turn it off when I get in, because it's not that often it's needed anyway.
