And the new Malibu has been out selling the Accord since it came out too. Not too shabby in my opinion.
My dealer told me the same thing about the Equinox. He said they're selling hotter than the Camaros in our area. They've had a Camaro 1LT RS sitting on the lot for almost 2 months at MSRP and can't sell it, but the Equinox sells regardless of options or color. I guess us Camaro owners are just more picky.

Wow, the fact that you all took me all "literal" was rather humorous. Main point, get the car produced and let the consumer go buy one like they would any car - yeah, it's not just "any" car but don't leave money on the floor.

Well the waits will continue, I'm at 9 weeks with 89 people still in front of my order........so next year is most likely when I will see delivery (if I wait that long) Finding open MSRP allocations isn't as easy as some of you think, I visited another dealer this weekend that wants $2500 over MSRP on orders, and they have a grand total of ZERO Camaro's on the lot to mark up!!!! Still way to much price gouging, I may just wait until the demand catches up and get a deal once they start to sit on the lots for 6 months!

Its a supply and demand issue. Not only availabilty of this car. But the underhanded tactics dealers are using to sell it. Drove over 150 miles to deal on a car. Long story short. Dealer used me to jack up the price on to an Ebay buyer. Sure I can order one. $5k down for them to honor employee pricing. Here in the North West (Oregon specifically) $10k-$15K over MSRP as well. Watched a dealer drop a non RS/2SS from $52K to $46K cause its sitting for the last 2 months. They also received another loaded SS. They just stuck it inthe showroom to prepare for its lengthy stay..... Kick me in the berrries if you want. But the all glass roof on the Stang is looking pretty good! Also licked the handles on a new Shelby........Why should the Camaro fans consistently put up with less than stellar performance? If anyone.......I mean anyone has a line on a Cyber Gray 2SS with IO interior........Hook me up! I will still keep the faith!

Hell i'm just totally still amazed on how how people have pre-ordere/ordered vehicles they never even sat in. I must commend everyone on being a true camaro fan because I totally wouldn't buy a car for the name/history if I haven't sat in it first....which I haven't even sat in it LOL. It's like rolling the dice for me.
Just cause you order it don't mean you have to take it when it comes in if it's not whatyou expected it to be but Ive had mine over 3months now and have no complaints!

It was 39 days from event code 1100 to when we took delivery for our car. We had a dealer with open allocation.

If you do enough trolling on the internet, you can find a car and not have to wait. The cars are out there, just have to do the leg work to find them.
