Enjoy your Ride!!!

IOM is awesome, you will not regret it!

By the way $2k is not too much for this car. Everyone has their own opinions, but just enjoy it! You just bought happiness...

Supply and demand? Have you ever walked into a Footlocker and asked to pay "invoice" or their cost on a pair on shoes? No, MSRP is just that, Manufacters Suggested Retail Price.

I got mine for MSRP, they would not honor Credit Union Supplier Discount, about $1200... SO, I had a choice, and I bought my car, and am happy...

Now, I will tell you, that I would NOT pay over sticker, but for those that do/did, their choice... I am well aware that once inventory builds up, it will be easier to deal with the Dealers, I chose to have my car early.

Congrats on your new car. You pay what your comfortable with paying, whatever that is in relation to MSRP.

However, I believe if people would not pay over MSRP or MSRP for a car, then we'd all be better off. THis situation has nothing to do with supply and demand. If your dealer wants MSRP or Heaven forbid, over MSRP, then go to another dealer. Since there are plenty of dealerships that are selling these cars at Invoice, Supplier price... well below MSRP, then you should just do a bit more searching. Comparing shoes and a $30,000 car is completely erroneous. MSRP on a car has an ample amount of profit built in for the dealership; I'd suspect a few thousand dollars for the Camaro. A shoe salesman only has a few dollars profit selling at suggested price. My $.02.
