Converter help

Posting this in race forum to help choose best option for racing. Currently have fti 3200 triple disk converter but going to pull trans to fix it.

Anyone have experience with fti 3800 vs circle d 3800? Can send it back to FTI to restall it or sell and start new with circle d. Just want to know experiences if youve had both.

I was in your shoes around this same time last year. I had a under performing Pro Torque converter. I thought about just sending it back to get re-stalled. THEN, i talked to some folks and everyone said don't even waste your time, just buy a Circle D - they work.

I said OK. I haven't looked back since. Circle D makes a great product for our 6L80. I have a Single Disc Circle D 4C 3800. I consistently 60FT in the 1.4 area code.

Yank 3600 over here also. I consistently cut 1.4 60s with only bolt ons.

Nothing wrong with Yank, I have a FTI now but have been interested in Circle D for a while.

I am having a Circle D Pro 1 - 3800 stall going in my car right now. If all goes well, I should be at the track this Friday after Thanksgiving.
