Anyone else enjoy shooting?

I figured i would ask since it is one of my favorite hobbies second to wishing I could get a camaro. I also figured it could pass some time for those who are waiting if your interested.

I have a few fun toys to take to the range!

Springfield XD .45acp
Remington 870 12ga which I like to call the AR 870
Custom built AR 15 spikes lower, stag upper, magpul stock, jpbarrel and hand guard.

Soon to be 2010-2011 Camaro SS/RS This is if the truck is worth trading in or I get it paid off!

I have a small collection myself, but shouldn't this be in off topic?

Nice XD. I have contemplated buying this gun in the past, but I would like to shoot one first, but have never had the chance.

What don't you like about it?

I like everything about this gun and I actually shot many other competitors before buying this one. I would have to say it's very much the same a an HK as far as how it shoots. You can see the barrel is polished which I did myself, it made the recoil feel a bit smoother! I have even considered buying a .40 sub compact because I like this one so much.

Oh I have never had this thing jam on me but I let a friend shoot it and he put about 300 rounds through it and got it to jam but the damn thing was so hot I had to wait for it to cool down before I could unjam it. This was also before smoothing/polishing the feed ramp.

I really like the feel of the Beretta over the Springfield, but again, haven't shot it either:(

Oh as far as the grip? The beretta does look like it has a better fit grip but I would have to try one out. I do like the look of the new springfield xd but havn't gotten around to go find one. Last time I checked dealers told me they may not be Cali. legal since it's a redesign and doesn't have a mag release lock to keep it from firing once the mag is dropped.

I LOVE shooting.

I'd love to talk about it here too...but, since I'm city, I'm kind of weary about what I say when it comes to my shooting. I'll keep it brief.

I will say that I'm part of the SAPD Ace club. I have scored perfect several times during quals. All the rest have been high 90's.

And I was top shooter in the academy....1/16 of an inch away from a perfect score.

I just pray that day I actually get into a shooting (and God knows I hope that day never comes), that I shoot like a train.

Remind me not to piss you off if I'm ever in San Antonio, or if I do at least give me a very good head start

Very nice...wish I still had my AR...but took a deal I just couldn't pass up. I do have a Beretta PX4 Storm .40 and love it....I love the feel of Berettas. Im also an active army guard member, and train soldiers that are deploying to the middle east. I am proficient and a "subject matter expert" with all weapons, but my passion is in the machine gun area...hehe.(especially .50cal) Here are a couple pics of the Beretta.....
