wow nothin huh??? ok well this is what the wife and I are doing feel free to join us. Meet in bremerton by the old fleet at 10 am

DISTANCE: 200 miles
TIME: 6 to 8 hours

A shorter version of the Olympic Peninsula Loop, this excursion winds through rain forests and charming waterfront communities. This loop provides great views of the Olympics and opportunities for shopping and picnics.

DIRECTIONS:

1. Head north on Highway 3, following the signs to the Hood Canal Bridge.

2. Take the left turn at the intersection where Highway 3 meets Highway 104. Cross the Hood Canal Bridge.

3. Follow the signs to Highway 101 toward Sequim and Port Angeles. (A detour to Port Townsend along Highway 19 is worth the extra 2 to 3 hours to visit this eclectic historic seaport).

4. Take the Highway 101 Quilcene exit off Highway 104. Head south on 101.

5. Follow Highway 101 as it continues through Brinnon, Hoodsport (visit the Hoodsport Winery there) and Potlatch. There are lots of fresh seafoods and markets along the way selling oysters, clams and crab.

6. Take Highway 106 east to Union and Belfair. Follow the signs to Tahuya/Belfair State Park and head north up the east side of Hood Canal. Past Seabeck, the road rejoins Highway 3 at Silverdale.
