Down load the owners manual and read through it a few times. Review any documentation u can find on the Camaro. Search internet for articials and then just forget about it. Mine took 6 weeks exactly to get it. The time will pass fairly fast.

This is why I didnt order I couldnt take the wait. I had a few offer to order me one for the color I wanted but nope. To me I had more leverage on price and trade with one on the lot then ordering.

I was not familiar with what a Mustang was, so I looked it up in Webster. This is what it said...

Definition of MUSTANG
1 : a small hardy naturalized horse of United States western plains directly descended from horses brought in by the Spaniards
2 : a little know sports car made by Ford, generally only seen in the rear view mirrors or Chevrolet Camaros

Some of us early adopters went through living hell trying to get our cars. Without all the gory details, I placed my order on 10/13/2008 (the first day you could order one) and didn't get mine until 8/15/2009. Ten months, five of which I was watching other people drive them on the roads! As pointed out by others here, I went from hell to heaven the day I picked it up.

Ordered 10/2008, manufactured 4/15/2009, sat in Area51 for about 60 days, took delivery 6/19/2009.

That 60 days in Area 51 was a lot more agonizing than your wait will be, Just knowing it is sitting there and nothing you can do about it.

Trust me it gets much worse once your car reaches its TPW in the factory. So close, but yet so far away! Shipping can take forever too!

But really, this is how I dealt with it. I told myself, there is nothing I can do about it, So I forced myself to check in with my dealer once a week or less until my TPW. That helped me get my mind off things. And the camaro tracking site helped a lot, I didn't have to wait for the dealer to give me an update in most cases. The site can be a day or two delayed, but it's nice to have that information to make sure your dealer isn't pulling your leg.

Just got in touch with my dealership. The shipping company screwed up, not realizing my car was ready for pick-up in a particular city for a few days. No Camaro for at least another week. Augh!!!

At least it didn't have to go across the border and sit in a rail yard for two weeks!!!

Focus on your work/school. Do well and move forward and when the car comes in, it will be like a reward. I was also on this website like 24/7 looking up things and planning mods.

You are not doing too bad, I ordered mine and sat, and sat and sat for almost 3 months and then canceled that dealer order, went to another dealer, ordered my car and waited another 7 weeks for her to come but let me tell you, it was worth the wait!!!!
