Average fuel milage on the v-8's?

I have a v-6 and I'm thinking about selling it for a v-8. what is the average fuel milage for you v-8'ers?
I looked for this on the site and was unable to find it.

Well, I did a 1000 mile round-trip earlier in March and averaged 25. Usually for my daily driving 85%hwy I average 21-23. But mileage depends on what you do with your right foot.

My daily country curvy roads commute of 20 miles nets around 17.

Are you looking at auto or manual? I have the M6 and I get around 15 mpg. All my driving is city driving and I drive about 20 miles one way in mostly stop and go traffic. I know others that are getting better mileage than that in the city. It really has a lot to do with how you drive the car. I get on it quite a bit.

500+ mile trip for me on the freeway, I got 20-22 mpg. Here in the city, I get 13-15 mpg, but I have a heavy right foot, lol.

I am still breaking in my vert and drive 85% city. I am getting around 17.5 on average. It will improve though.....or so I'm told.

Be prepared for the "If you worried about mileage, don't get an SS" comments.

That's me too. 15 for me on a good tank where I behave.

I'm averaging about 280 miles per fillup, and on average it's 15.5-16 gallons going in the car...

About 18mpg, which isn't bad considering I do about 36 miles a day in about half highway/half city driving..

Manual here...I average 18.2. I get on it here and there when I need to or I haven't for a while. I rarely drive on the highway and 40-45 mph is the speed that I do 80% of my driving at to and from work. Weekends I hit the highways but that's counterbalanced by cruising and getting on the gas pedal a little more than during my daily commute.
