did warm up a little today,so i did get a little done but not as much as i hoped for,tomarrow it will be even warmer should be an eventful day i hope,today i did get my 2 coats of 2k primer on the door jams,came out really good,now i just need to sand with 400 grit and then wet sand with 600 and there ready for paint soon then i can get my doors back on.yahhhh.

thx rpomeroy i appreciate,im getting there slowly but surely,just taking my time trying to do it right,maybe next i will work on my engine bay so i can get my engine installed.

It's really worth the time and effort, especially in the engine bay. Nothing will make that beast you're putting in pop like a fresh bay.
I'm subscribed and will follow. My first Camaro was a 79 Z so there always a special place in my heart for these bad boys and I like seeing the resurrection as it happens. Thanks for sharing.

thx i appreciate it,yeah i will spend alot of time in my engine bay cleaning everything up really good and giving it fresh paint,havent decided if im gonna go with a black engine bay or paint it body color,i kinda like the black myself.

Yep. My 68 is black, but the door jams and trunk match the color.

yeah same as mine it was originally painted black in the engine bay from the factory would like to keep it that way.

came across a good deal on a dashpad,hows free for yah its in perfect shape,thx skrail i appreciate it,and spent most of the day working on my bumper cover block sanding it and applying filler,then sanding some more and applying more filler,want this to be as blemish free and straight as possible its the first part of the car u see when looking at it,want it to be perfect.

sorry guys not much to report lately but i have been working on my z28,been working on the front bumper cover trying to get it as perfect as i can,so i think its finally there of 12 hours of filling and sanding.hope it turns out good,so now its ready for its last coats of primer then 600 wet sand and its ready for paint.

ur right im barely even sleeping at night im so anxious to get this thing in paint,been so hot and humid i been doing the work at night,i have suffred insomnia since a child but this makes it worse.i think its gonna look beautiful in cobalt blue metallic,with white balwin motion stripe cant wait to get it all done.then onto the interior.
