I agree, a 5th gen on the local dyno made 468hp with a 226/234 cam just a few weeks ago with bolt ons.

ya my car made 462/423 with the lg g6x3. which seems a lil low compared to some others but there were things going against me that day , 106* shop temps and about 500 miles from a oil change. but my car runs right with another car that identical to mine same cam and such but he made 478/432 on the same dyno. but our cars mph the same at the track. i mean dont get tide up in numbers a whole lot . but if u ask me 50 rwhp is a good jump for a cam.

Horsepower gains are not the whole story. A cam/tune will make your car "quicker". It moves torque into a more "useable" rpm range. Gear ratios don't add hp but will make your car quicker. If your adding mods a camshaft is one of the best bang for the bucks out there.

dyno numbers are a little tricky and there's a lot of factors in the dyno that can change your numbers. As a calibrator, im more focused on my scanner than the dyno. My scanner tells me if the calibration is on target. The dyno only tells me the effects of the changes I made.

Your if your car makes 450ish RWHP on a Dynojet, you'll be about 405ish RWHP on a mustang. Doesn't make it wrong, but the dyno is a measuring tool. After a long day of calibrating your car in the heat, lets say you make 400 RWHP. The next day you can cold start the car, get the fluids up to a safe temperature, and do a cold pull, you'll be just over 410 RWHP and change nothing. Again, the dyno numbers are less of a factor then my scanner.

You can numb the hell out of knock sensors and make higher numbers.

So,
I wouldn't say 50 RWHP from "his cam is the biggest you can go without flycutting" would be out of normal, but the 416 RWHP is a little high for bolt ons from what I see on a Dynojet.

More importantly, is the vehicle calibrated correctly and does the owner like the finished product.

Now take it to the track and see if his numbers add up.
