My 2010 2SS has a big engine that goes rarrr!!! No backup sensors or HUD ... early 2010 with the little chicklets and roller skates, lol

His list was accurate for 2010. The OP didn't state what MY camaro he's looking at. It's actually cheaper in a lot of instances to just make a feature standard than to optionally install it. That's probably why a lot of the 2lt/ss features end up in the 1lt/ss.

I'm a little surprised that this thread is so long. The info should be easy to look up for each MY camaro since 2010.

The REAL answer: who cares if it's a 1SS or a 2SS as long as it has all the features you want?

If you want leather, HUD, back-up camera and gauge clusters, it doesn't matter if you buy a used 2SS that had them all stock or a 1SS that had them added. It is the end result that's all that matters.

Best most accurate way is 5th digit in VIN
J = 1SS AUTO
S = 1SS MANUAL
K = 2SS AUTO
T = 2SS MANUAL.

Sort of early, roller skates were added about the time the chicklets came off, later in '09. My 2010 had wheel weights on the calipers for dampers.
