sorry to ask a stupid question, but does this 5/100k powertrain and 3/36k bumper warranty is offered with the purchase of the vehicle or is it an extra charge!

We never hear from the 98% of folks who paid for a warranty they never used. Take the grand or two you would spend on the warranty and put it into an account. Do this every time you buy a car and you'll have plenty of money for the rare case that a repair is needed. With this car having a 5/100k powertrain and 3/36k bumper to bumper there is absolutely no reason to pay someone a grand or more to insure against a repair that is most likely covered under a factory warranty you already paid for. You would not insure your car twice would you?
I agree with the pure profit issue. However being a 1st year car, I'm taking the bumper to bumper to 6yrs

My dealer matched Fitchner's price. They only started out about $300 more, which was less then I expected.

Fitchner goes on the Corvette sites to pimp his deal on warranties. The reason it is a "deal" is because GMPP has no risk because the car already has a warranty.
