Turn the headlight knob one click to the right and it only turns the halos on...

No, it turns on all your parking lights, including the halos.

Yes the 2014 are brighter, in the old headlights we have 1 LED in the 2014 there are 6 for the halo.

Also is there an easy wiring harness to change my DRL's to being my amber lights?
Not sure if that would look good, I'm thinking it would..

Maybe I'm alone in this thinking but I don't believe the halos look that great as the DRLs. The fog lamps look much cooler. If I had a '14, I'd be trying to find a harness that makes your fogs the DRLs.

No need to be jealous, I think they look just as nice whether or not they are brighter than the other, I like how they look with just the halos on.

The existing DRL lights (fog lights), at least on a Canadian RS/SS remain on with this harness.
