I like the CZ but went for the Walther instead. Took my bother shooting today and he shot his S&W sd9ve for the first time. Horrible trigger and he took a while to be able to put rounds where he wanted. I got an ATI stock kit for my AK and I did not like it. I got it at a nice price during the Christmas sales but it's crap. The handguard did not do well with the heat after only 6 mags. The mags were shot normal with no rapid fire session. No good so I'm looking for another stock kit but this time I'll spend the money. ATI Scorpion Stock rating......4.

Just a normal CZ-75B in nickel finish. Best shooting gun I've ever owned.

I bought an import IWI clone of the cz75, needs a new spring to match my reloads but it's a really nice shooter and love the hi cap mags. Apparently they built a few with polygonal rifled barrels which this one has but can't find another.
A few years ago you could buy the Cz and clones cheap, till everyone found out how good they were. I also have a Witness large frame in 10mm, (bullseye) , I'd still like to get a cz75b. Some day.... For those looking, the Cz steel frames are pretty heavy when loaded up. Makes for a smooth recoil tho.

Any Collectors? And WHAT's your main interest?
Here's a few of my S&W revolvers. A pair of N frame, Performance Center, Light Weight Hunters. A limited production run from the 1990's. Been an S&W fan since I was a kid. Stated collecting them maybe 25 yrs back, as best as I could afford. Today prices are so high , and truly good examples getting rarer and rarer. So I feel fortunate to have my modest collection. This is a pair of fairly rare J frames. A small run made in the 80's with a Square butt, frame configuration. Most model 60's were round butts. Also a Colt, SIG and Winchester fan. Have several of each but the Smith's are my main interest. |

I think we're all collectors, just some more enthusiastic
My interest is varied, if it's a gun I'm interested... From 30's Winchester .22 to a modern Noreen .50BMG and anything in-between. My wheel guns were stolen, favorite was a Colt Trooper MK 3 .22 cal 8" barrel....and yes those prices are through the roof! I bet that High Standard is accurate, they're fun pistols. I have a brother that can hit hand thrown clays all day long with a SuperMatic.

Yeah...I have a very varied interest as well. Not big on shotguns, but can certainly appreciate fine bird guns or competition guns.
Always liked rifles, have way too many now, considering I don't big game hunt anymore. DO shoot LR rifle, so I can at least rationalize those in the safe. I have three Freedom Arms single actions. A pair of the big M-83's and a lone M-97 in .44 Special. Those guys are addictive. They are built like a Swiss watch. As well as some of the most accurate revolvers available. Have several SIG's too. A pair of X-5 Comp guns I used for IPSC and steel challenge, as well as a few standard carry 226's and 229's. So MANY out there to lust after. A little bit like cars. Except not as expensive and FAR easier to store. |

As much as I love the latest and greatest generation of polymer wonders, bullpups, and semi-auto combat rifles, I see and appreciate the complexity and ingenuity of early firearms (ie:WW1)

The guy who built my LR rifles did a .408 Chey-Tac LR rifle. Like shooting an anti tank rifle! LOL. The muzzle brake tames it...but one does not want to be along side the brake when firing. VERY loud.
We hit steel out to 1500 yds, pretty reliably. |

I only shoot skeet, trap and sporting clays. I have a beautiful over under beretta 686. No pictures, but a ton of fun to shoot. I'm sure there's tons of guys on here who will say you will shoot faster with an auto loader. But nothing beats snapping the barrel, ejecting the two shells, reloading and snapping the barrel back. Best feeling out there

Traded into a new in case Kreighoff K-80 back in 2008. Thirty two inch barrels, 20,28, .410 tube set, choke tubes, etc. I agree there's nothing like a quality over under. I shoot SC's when I visit my Mom in NJ. A buddy and I try to hit Lehigh Valley SC in PA, at least once every trip out. Great course. A few courses here in MT but nothing close by. |
