Victory Red door panel trim?

Does victory red trim kits exists? I have been looking everywhere even on here. IF it is not available then what do people get on their VR Camaros?

I don't believe it does. From my understanding people seem to be taking their stock panels off and having them painted. Probably cheaper than an interior trim kit that way regardless.

But my stock panel kit has that fabric over it. Does it come off or are you talking about those who have the silver

both will work. you can take the cloth off and sand the panel and paint it easily. The ones with the silver can just skip the step of removing the cloth

I'd like to know the answer to that as well. My VR came with gray door panel inserts. I don't remenmber anyone at the dealsership stating there were optional colors for the door panels. I saw a photo where someone painted their door panels to match their VR Camaro. It looked great! In fact it looks nature and what one would think should have come from the factory. The gray inserts don't really match anything else on the interior or exterior. I'd like them to be VR but don't have the skills or knowledge to paint them myself.

Whew...sanding huh? Are talking like a fine sand paper or is the panel rough underneath and will need rough through fine? I wouldnt even know what kind of paint to use on it. Probably will need a gloss too

Neither do I! I would hat to mess up what came stock. I guess maybe if it did mess up I could put the fabric back on. Do you have the ambient lighting? I would like to do that but I know nothing about that kind of stuff

OP - yes I have the ambient lighting and that is part of the reason I'm not excited about taking the panel off to paint it. I don't want to create problems. By the way I think I should have said I have silver panels - no cloth.

Let me know if you come across anything... I'd like a set as well.

The DIY route can work though, check this out http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=71728

Only thing is- I have a feeling that once they're painted, ambient lightning won't show up anymore...

I for get where I red it but they said you have to leave the edge un painted and rub the inside of the panel to take the white off. (panels are off white color under the fabric) Im just curious on what kind of paint to use and the prep work and finishing that has to be done. Alos if you brush the paint on or airbrush...I would assume airbrush...which I dont have lol

I have my interior panels painted victory red and it looks great! Revo1 my paint guy masked off the very top of the panel in order to keep the ABL so the top part is still grey but not very noticeable. My car is currently in the shop for some more mods but I should have it back by friday but will post night shots as soon as i can. Sorry for the big pics its my first time posting pics.

As far as I know the red interior (GM) is not available yet but I think I heard they were going to make one. It was cheaper to paint them though.

mine came straight from the dealer with red leather covered door panels, don't know if it was a kit or anything but I know they installed it there to try and up the price of the car along with leather seats. here is a pic
