Picking up a new car tomorrow - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Hey just wanted some peoples opinion on this. We are turning my wifes car back in tomorrow it is a 2006 BMW 330i. As soon as we leave we are going to pick up her new 2009 G8 GT Black with black leather with the sport package. Between me getting the 2010 2ss camaro and her new G8 I am doing my part to help GM. What do you guys think on me getting her a new G8 ?

I just cant stand BMW. She wanted another 4door so we agreed that this was the best car for the money (also is there any other brand of car besides GM). Most of the people you deal with IMO @ BMW dealerships are pricks !!!

All for it. You will have two outstanding vehicles IMO. I've spent time in both and I don't think you will be dissapointed.

The G8 will be roomy and do all the things the Camaro can't quite manage. And the SS will give you a thrill every time you turn the key.

Very, VERY nice!! I test drove a G8 GXP about a month ago (had to go for the top) and I was quite impressed! Very comfortable, very strong handling, and lots of power. It was the GXP after all.

If I had to get a sedan, it'd be between that and a Malibu. Either way, GM baby!

My wife had a BMW Z3, I brought home a convertable Z28 I rescued from a dealership. She drove the Z, told me I could sell the BMW, she didn't see the need to keep half a car when we had a real car for her to drive. Good choice GM all the way. She used the CTS slogan, when she turned the z28 on it returned the favor
