FWIW, Motor Trend's test of the G8 GXP shows a 0-60 time of 4.5 sec with a 1/4 mi. time of 13.0.

conv = ???
hdrs = headers
3.73 = Rear gears
DR = Drag radials
ported int = ported intake
port Fast = ???
P/int = ???

GMRULZ you had a killer light and the GT was way asleep at the wheel. Great job spanking that GT500. That video will make anyone a believer in the LS3.

I still call the Camaro in at 12.8 with an amazing driver, at Atco, on a day when the DA is -3500 with 0 humidity and the track is prepped perfectly.

I might be able to live with that . . . but I am still hoping for an unrealistic 12.6-12.8 with a slightly better than average driver. I'm still confident that no matter what times the Camaro SS performs, it will still out handle, perform, and look beter than the Mustang for a good while.

I know someone who ran 11.7 bone stock. Bad ass! With a tune, headers, and a cam he is into the 10s.

Not on run-flats. Never happen. Z06's need DR's to get into the low 11's.

This is a promising sign. The camaro not only is on a more refined platform, it's lighter, has a little more HP, and probably very close in drag ratio. I would think if a GXP runs a 13.0, take .1-.2 off for the camaro. Wow, that would be awesome. I really doubt they would make the GXP faster than the camaro SS. Anyone agree?

The GXP is geared a bit more aggressively than the Camaro which should negate those advantages.
