Thumbs up A day out with the car

So I'm not sure how many people know about this. Me and the girlfriend where driving in the Finger Lakes of NY and stopped by Watkins Glen road course. They have Thunder Road Tours where they take a group around the track for 3 laps it's only 25 bucks.

Here is what they tell you.

1) stay behind the pace car
2) please no passing
3) the top speed is around 55 mph
4) headlights and seat belts on
5) must be 18 to be the driver

And here is what I have to say about it.

1) they go faster than 55mph so get there early and try to stage up behind the pace car
2) they take on track photos of your car one on each lap.
3) take a video camera and have a passenger record it
4) they stop at the end of the 2nd lap to get out an take pics at the start line

We had such a blast doing this and I recommend for anyone that loves cars and driving them

Thanks ABM wasn't my first choice until I saw it in person for the first time fell in love with the car right away. And now chevy did me a favor with making it a 1 year color.

Molson you can always check out tracks closer to you. My girl loved it and now we are finding out that many offer some type of track time. I've seen a few open track events that range from 150 to 400 for the day.
