I agree, vent opening should be 1/8-1/4 in wider.

Seems like someone could do it like the 3D Carbon ones, even take it or make it like the gills with an opening that has 3 open ports formed just like the area is so it conforms to it, making the same type of install as the front fender vent.

I agree with you, someone should make that style. The ones that are currently offered look to much like the mustang ones, and the gills look great in my opinion, I just wish they where actual vents instead of indentions.

Smart minds think alike and again, I say someone could make a solution for the gills just as 3D Carbon did and make a kit that requires cutting into the existing metal and add something like this pic I posted that would look the same but real as they should have been from factory.

Well, my tracking number said my fender vents would be delivered on Tuesday. Now if I were pressed to get them installed, they would have been here on Tuesday or maybe the next day for a weather delay or something but because I'm in no particular hurry to get them installed, guess who rang my doorbell today? That's right, FedEx!

I got my 3D Carbon fender vents and I'm very happy with the packaging, quality and the paint match is on point! RJT is a very hard color to match up as I've found out having other pieces painted. There are 8 different colors of Red Jewel Tintcoat and within that color there are at least 4 shade spectrums for each color so your talking about a minimum of 32 different shades of the same color. Fortunately I have my paint codes on hand for my car so I know the exact color and shade.

Not sure when I'll get them installed but as I said, I awaiting the Wizard to deliver some courage and a heart. IN the meantime, I have them ready to go.

Yeah, I have seen those and I think they look good! But I also really like the gills, so it is really a matter of which I want more, the gills or the vents

Personally I don't see how these couldn't be made in an open gill type vent, just as these are presented. Instead of one open slot, three of them, one slightly behind the other.

For those who added lights, how many lights did you put inside? I'm planning to order some but hate to get one for each vent and find its not enough. Is one LED per side sufficient?

Thanks!

I have one strip in mine for the blinker. 1 12 inch strip of the 5050 LEDs should be good

Awesome! I'd love to see pictures! To post pictures, at the bottom underneath the text box for a response there are 2 buttons and click on the one that says "go advanced". Then it will bring you to another screen, scroll down, and under additional options there is a button that says "manage attachments". Click on it, and a separate window will pop up, click on "choose file", and then choose your file and press upload. Then the picture is attached and after just post the response like normal.
