Hello all. About wo weeks ago I got tired of seeing all these Gen 5 Camaros looking all sexy in the rearview mirror of my 1998 Lexus GS400 and, since she had 212,xxx miles on her, I decided it was time to give in a buy one. So now I come before you a proud new owner of a 2010 Camaro SS-The Black Pearl. As soon as I bought her I started my quest to individualize her from the sea of Camaros here in Chicago, and that quest lead me to the Camaro5 Forums. This place is an excellent resource and has served to greatly reduce my ignorance in a very short time. I have most of my external mods already ordered, I'm not a gear head, so I will need your help when I start modding her for speed.

I would be grateful for any input on my cam, supercharger, exhaust and header options, There are way to many options and I don't read mechanic very well, I got an automatic, I just want to press the gas and win...

If you want to get rid of your stock bumper real cheap let me know I'd be intersted

For those of you who notice the damage to my raer bumper, the Police rear ended me! I was watching him, (of course) and traffic ahead of me stopped right after the light turned green. he was about 250-300 ft back at the time, but when traffic slows down quickly, you look behind you to see if the guy behind you is going to stop. I saw clearly that his rate of speed ( about 35 mph) was indicative of his ignorance, and that he was going to hit me. So I cut the wheel and hit the gas, but he still got me, I only had a second to take corrective action and I wasn't sure if the lane I was going into was clear, but I knew I didn't want to cause another accident trying to avoid the first one. I managed to mitigate the majority of the damage, as you can see the left side of his ram got me in the center, if he had hit me dead on I would have taken WAY more damage!
