If there were no speed limits...

Would you be speeding or go as fast as you want all the time? Or are you concerned about your mpg and still drive conservatively?

MPG is my fun meter, and it's rated like golf: The higher your score, the less fun you're having!

mpg would be the least of my concern if there were no speed limits, and everyone was driving as fast as they could.

I would drive 70 mph on what was a 65 mph zone because thats what I do now and don't want to change.

But I would be terrified of the people that couldn't handle a car at high speeds all the time

I certainly wouldnt outrun the conditions... but I would likely run 85-90 in most all road conditions..... with an occasional spirited trip to the northern limits of my speedometer on the lovely straightaways such as interstates

We've got some 80 and 85mph speed limits here in Texas, yet even on a road with a speed limit of 80mph I've found myself cruising at 78mph. It feels perfect at that speed.

I have a lead foot so I am sure I would continue speeding everywhere.

Who buys a sports car and cares about mpg? Fast as I could whenever and wherever.
