I took pics on Saturday, haven't gotten them back yet from my friend who's camera I borrowed. I promise I will have pics up today. I am so sorry for the wait everyone. It was a crazy week followed by a busy weekend.

And for those talking about the price of this kit being too high, remember, this is a GT (basically a race kit) designed for track use. If you want the look and feel of these calipers, but don't plan on doing heavy track racing, there is a viable alternative as a friend of mine pointed out in another thread:

The new Camaro "caliper only" upgrades are ready! You can order them with red or yellow or silver or black calipers at no extra charge. The upgrades fit the Camaro SS.

These are 6-piston Monoblock front calipers and 4-piston Monoblock rear calipers to be used with the stock brake discs. The calipers come with the Ferodo FM1000 high performance brake pads and we also include Goodridge stainless steel brake lines and caliper mounting hardware.

These upgrades are a great low cost alternative to the full Brembo GT systems using the same Monoblock calipers and pads.

Retail for the front system is only $1995.
Retail for the rear system is only $1795.
Keep this in mind too

Congrats on having enough money to upgrade your ride to this system, my wife would kill me. Thank God the Camaro 2SS already comes with Brembos.

I have autocrossed for 10 years + and was Chief of Tech for 6 + years in my region (aside from tons of other racing experience), if you need brakes like this vs the stock SS ones to Autocross, you're doin something wrong. Aside from the fact these would immediately take you out of Stock class, putting you at a disadvantage if you don't start doing more mods to your car (assuming you plan on winning anything, which i see no other reason to race ).
Rogue, I agree that this brake setup is a bit over the top for anyone less than all-out racers, but check out this thread over in the Road Course/Driving Techniques forum:

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showpo...3&postcount=17

Brian claimed he took his SS to the track last week for a few test sessions, and totally lost the brakes his second session in. The car was a week old. Then he flushed the fluid, went out again, and only lasted three sessions before the brakes gave out again.

Plenty of us attend HPDE track days, and the last thing you want is to be worrying about brake management. I figured with the stock Brembos, the SS would be track-ready right off the showroom floor, but now it seems you at least have to upgrade to high-temp DOT 4 brake fluid. I'm sure we'll learn more as others take their cars to the track.

BTW, my brakes almost went to the floor this past Monday at Watkins Glen, when I was braking HARD from 130 mph down to about 90 for the "Bus Stop" at the end of the back straight. And I went to the track with fresh fluid and HPS pads. Not a good feeling. Next time, I'll use the ATE Super Blue fluid.

Here's a lap at the Glen when the brakes were okay:

Whats the weight difference in the stock Brembo and the aftermarkets? Bigger everything has to mean more weight?
