Those should be the FE3 bars and endlinks. Or the old style. No drilling... those will bolt right up.

IF you want to take advantage of the improved FE 4/5 rear lower control arms and swaybar setup, you'll need to buy a new FE 4/5 sway bar and endlinks from Pedders and get new FE4/5 Lower control Arms from Chevy.

Maybe an old style rear would work good for me? To many decisions

absolutely! there is nothing wrong with the old style swaybar/endlink setup...

It's just that the new swaybar/ endlink / LCA is more efficient and allows for more aggressive setup. but for a DD car the old (FE3) aftermarket systems are gonna be a big improvement over stock.

If you have stock struts/LCA and didn't drill them out, just make sure the Pedders endlinks are not the 12mm(?)stud ones that require enlarging.

I have the older Pedders system with XA coilovers and my front strut and rear arm endlink hole is enlarged. If I can use the new style bar on the old arm, that would be great. Can't remember if there is a welded boxed brace on the rear LCA near the hub.

Otherwise, more $$$ for 2012 LCAs. Then, change out bushings, too? Does it ever end?

And I told my wife I'd keep the car fairly stock. Those days are over...

You have the best endlinks available for the 5th Gen, Pedders High Efficiency OE Quiet Adjustable Length Endlinks. There is no need to drill anything to install the front bar.

Only the 2012 on arms have room for the new drop link so the answer is you'll need new arms to go with the new sway bar.

What's the best set up for convertibles? How do you improve the suspension without killing the car and the ride? I have seen many solutions for coupes, but want to hear what the best package is for us convertible guys.

The more things change, the more they stay the same. We start with the sub-frame and radius bushes (Pedders Street I). They are the foundational mods of any 5th Gen. From there we can go two ways. Lowering coils (Front 220032 and Rear 220035 to carry the top weight) or coilovers. The beauty of coilovers is the adjust-ability. The choice on coilovers or lowering coils is driven by the owner's expectations for vehicle performance and of course budget. For many, foundational bushes, the FE4 sway bar upgrade and a Pedders tight spec alignment are all they will ever need or want.

What are your plans for engine mods?
How do you drive your Camaro? Street, strip, AC, road course?

Power adders are in the future - supercharger or head cam package. I really don't race or auto-X but would like to regain some of the crispness my 2003 Z06 had in its steering but try to keep some of the civility of the stock ride of the camaro. I have small children. Is that even possible?
