Shorter* short through hurst shifter adapter
Hey guys, I thought some of you might like the adapter I made for my Hurst shifter. I didn't find it very comfortable with my elbow just barely missing the center console so I decided to cut a new rod that would be shorter and at a little more of an angle. The results came out perfectly. I notice a much larger difference in the two rods than I thought their would be. Gear to gear is also much quicker. Let me know what you guys think. I think it would be awesome if Hurst would sell a separate shorter shift rod, I don't know if any of their team is on Camaro5.
Sorry everyone I have no idea why the images have rotated.. Original: The one I made |
