I enjoyed the show quite a bit, but I have to say it seemed like just a big add for the v6 camaro, which we know is not as big a hit as the v8. I think GM just doesn't want to see their v6 engineering $$ go to waste.

Great show though, really liked the AGV, the precision and speed of the robots was pretty freaky! I was sitting there thinking, "We're just a few steps away from Skynet..."

How many guys are going to magnet test their hood tonight?? Sheepishly admit I did, and yep it must be aluminum. Lot of great technology in play making this car.

I really don't think the public at large has a clue the amount of plant and investment in engineering it takes to mass produce a car. It is amazing the mass of machinery and money it must have taken.

People crab about the unions...........blah blah blah.....labor is a very small expense of building a car. The only thing I have against them is the job bank situation........and 5 guys retired for every 3 working they still gotta pay for. Other than that, whatever that guy gets paid to sling 880 left side tires (2 per car) on in a shift, he earned every dime of it. I get tired even thinking about changing 1 tire.

The facts were not straight by the commentator, but overall an amazing show of the behind the scenes.

BTW who's Donked 68 was that??

what kept bugging me is when they drop a v8 in the subframe and say this 304hp v6 has been planted or something, when you can clearly see its a v8

my favorite had to be the dramatic suspense music whenever a problem occured: for example when they were lifting the drive assembly into place

people need to stop bitching about details. you have to remember that "we" (camaro/car enthusiasts) make only a small portion of the total viewership.

They kept showing the V6 while talking about the LS3 and vice versa. "304hp..." while the V8 is on the screen and such. It was a cool show but I would have hoped they'd get the right thing on the screen when they are talking about it. I was sad to see barely any ABM's rolling down the line :(

that was pretty bad ass. i wish they would have shown everything.

anyone catch when they were putting the engine/tranny on the line, and they said this 304hp v6 motor is being mated to the rest of the drivetrain, when it was actually a v8 that was being mounted?

They didnt want to talk about v-8's because their not "Green" enough. They waste too much gas.Wah cry me a F***ing river.
I say the more gas I burn the better.

I liked the show minus the fact it seemed as if they were confusing V8 parts with the V6.

Yeah they flubbed a bit here and there. I was annoyed that they kept referring to the v6 and it's stats and not mentioning the v8 and talked about the v6 while showing the v8 ;-(

Well at least the v6 owners got to see the building of their engines. It was cool to see the stamping machines swapping out and all the robots. Pretty amazing. I love my car!
